HPRA was founded for the purpose of estab-lishing
a network of Hispanics employed in the public relations profession in the
Southern California region. A nonprofit, educational organization, HPRA
offers its members the opportunity to exchange ideas and experience. The
organization promotes professional devel-opment through educational programs,
pro-vides assistance to students, and advocates responsible coverage of
issues and images affecting the Hispanic community.
